Messi and Neymar missed out on FIFA 21 Team of the Year

EA Sports has named the composition of the symbolic team of 2020 in the FIFA 21 simulator.

10 million people from 185 countries of the world took part in the poll, which resulted in the selection of 11 best football players. The name of the 12th additional player will be announced next week.

It is noteworthy that Barcelona leader Lionel Messi and last year’s Champions League finalist Neymar were not included in the team of the year.

Goalkeeper: Manuel Neuer (Bavaria, Germany);

Defenders: Alphonso Davies (Bayern, Canada), pin up Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid, Spain), Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool, Netherlands), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool, England);

Midfielders: Joshua Kimmich (Bavaria, Germany), Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United, Portugal), Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City, Belgium);

Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus, Portugal), Robert Lewandowski (Bayern, Poland), Kylian Mbappe (PSG, France).

In total, there were 70 players on the list of applicants. Players who make the Team of the Year will receive special TOTY cards.

Earlier it was reported that Messi was not included in the 2020 team of the year according to L’Equipe.
